TWAP
The final value is a time weighted average price (or market cap) over the 15 minutes ending at the deadline. A single spike or dip in the last second cannot decide a market.
Rules applied at the deadline
- Yes if the value meets the condition in the question.
- No if it does not.
- Void if the data is unavailable, the pair disappears, liquidity falls under the minimum at the deadline, or the market was manipulated.
Liquidity guard
If the token's liquidity is under $5,000 at the deadline, the price is not trusted and the market is reviewed. It may be voided and refunded.
Market cap
Market cap uses the data provider's circulating supply times price. The provider and the number are recorded in the market's resolution record.
Resolution record
Each resolved market shows the final value, the data source, the time, who or what resolved it and a link to the data. This is also in the audit log.
Who resolves
Resolution runs from server side functions on a schedule. An admin can lock, resolve or void a market manually if data is broken, and every manual action is written to the audit log.
